Overview of the Group Adult Foster Care Program
The Group Adult Foster Care (GAFC) Program is a MassHealth program that provides essential care and support to individuals who are elderly and/or disabled living in the state of Massachusetts. Program participants receive assistance in completing their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). ADLs include bathing, personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, eating, mobility, and toileting. Nursing oversight and assistance with homemaker tasks, such as laundry and light housecleaning, is also provided
